Secret Pal 11 Questionaire

1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like? So far my favorite yarn would be Louet Gems in fingering. I don't like anything that isn't soft

2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in? I'm am in the process of making a needle case, but at the moment they are sitting in a bag

3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced? My grandmother taught me to knit when I was in grade school, but I didn't really take it seriously until the beginning of this year. I would consider myself intermediate

4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list? I have an Amazon wish list and it can be found here.

5. What's your favorite scent? Magnolia Blossom(but I think it's been discontinued), I like clean, fresh smells

6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy? I like Reese Peanut Butter Cups, or milk chocolate

7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin? I love to sew, cross-stitch, crochet, just started to do some beading, and am dying to try a drop spindle.

8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD) I like a variety of music. Rap, Country, Top 20. Yes, my computer can play MP3s

9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand? I love muted colors, can't stand anything really bright

10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets? DH, our 4 yr old daughter, our cat and a hamster

11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos? All the above except ponchos

12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit? I love to knit everything

13. What are you knitting right now? MS3, socks(for various swaps), Anemoi Mittens, and a Cardigan for Angelina

14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts? Yes, I do

15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic? I prefer Bamboo needles, as for circular or straight, it depends on the project

16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift? Yeah!! I just bought a yarn winder, still working on the swift

17. How old is your oldest UFO? January 2007...A cable and bobble hooded cardigan for myself

18. What is your favorite holiday? It's a toss up between Christmas and Thanksgiving, I love both

19. Is there anything that you collect? Shot glasses, Willow Tree figurines and Candles

20. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have? I am a fairly new sock knitter so I would love to try some Cherry Tree Hill or Fleece Artist, since these seem to be what sock knitters are always raving about. But I'm willing to try anything that you think is awesome.

21. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn? I would like to try the Magic Loop for socks
